Does anyone detect a callous disregard for our craft who shoe in the polo world, and the welfare of the ponies in their care??

A comment/posting was withdrawn from these boards [note above], as a request of one of those farriers, regarding his comment made regarding an ADVERT by an associated company, an advert PLACED in the POLO times offering to sell horseshoeing equipment direct to the polo teams.

The background being POLO grooms are undertaking acts of farriery and veterinary surgery without formal UK registration. 29 ponies have died recently in the US seemingly due to this scenario, not a superficial matter it know seems.

The gripe today, even after the withdrawal of the posting, the offending ADVERT, it is reported has again been placed in the POLO Times.

We should all air on the side of caution here as csc requested that this thread be removed he alone only knows why, i respect his desision and understand that he and many others have strong feelings about how these polo grooms obtain shoes and nails and futher more shoe these ponies in front of members of polo clubs that no better hurlington polo assosciation should take firm action against member and stamp this out.
