Critical injury to newly qualified Farrier.

Postby PNB » Fri Jun 21, 2013 9:12 am

All.

The Press Office, UKHSA has been made aware of a Critical Injury to a very newly qualified Farrier.

James was trimming a broodmare at one of the larger Newbury Studs, when another broodmare which was in the same field kicked James in the Face and Head.

James was taken to John Radcliff Hospital Oxford, where last night he had a brain operation. Further information suggests he is critical yet stable.

I am sure all our thoughts go out to James and his Girlfriend Jo [Workrider H Dunlop], wishing James a full and speedy recovery.
